Designing Just Flow

How did we design Just Flow?

This article explains the process of designing and creating the new version of the Just Flow website. It is also a way to test different plugins to find the one that works best for us. In fact, throughout the writing of this article, various methods have been tried, case in point the current piece tests how PostX handles templates and how it could work with the design of Just Flow.

Finding something that fits the vision we have is quite the challenge, but, here at Just Flow, we welcome challenges that come our way. As you will see on this website once it is live, the Just Flow crew has brought together gamification and design to help our clients achieve their goals.

The process began with setting the objective: representing what we do, how we do it, and our process in an easily understandable way. Once the goal was set, the following step of the process was to figure out what topics to include, how to present them appropriately, and in which order.

After the design has been established, wireframes can be created. As an example, a few of the wireframes created for the landing page of this website.

Although one might be tempted to continue ahead and implement the website directly, we take time to establish a fitting colour palette and try out a few variations.
